ProteinSafeTM Protease Inhibitor Cocktail (100×)

ProteinSafe^TM Protease Inhibitor Cocktail (l00x) is a ready-to-use mixture of seven protease inhibitors (AEBSF, Aprotinin, Bestatin, E-64, Leupeptin, Pepstatin Aand EDTA) that has been optimized to protect proteins from being digested by endogenous proteases, including serine protease, cysteine protease, aminopeptidase, aspartic acid protease and metalloprotease. This cocktail is suitable for use in protein purification, Western Blot, Co-IP, ChIP, protein kinase activity assay, etc. It contains a separate component of EDTA which is incompatible with some downstream applications (i.e. protein assays, 2D electrophoresis, etc.).EDTA can be added to the cell lysis buffer if it is required as a metalloprotease inhibitor.
